The chalets are equipped with facilities for simple cooking, including a stove top range and microwaveas well as 4 or 6 place utensil settings. Barbecues are also provided.  You'll find that the chalets have generous storage provisions for all your groceriies even if you're staying a week. A limited selection of basic supplies are available from reception, including breakfast packs.  Most people choose to eat in for some of the time but there are also a number of cafes and restaurants in the district, particularly at the wineries and specialty food producers and in Stanthorpe. 

Some supplies are available at the Ballandean general store.  In Stanthorpe there is a full range of shops from supermarkets to specialty stores.

Ballandean Tavern, Eukey Road, Ballandean, (over the railway, behind the Fruitasaurous). Good pub fare between 6pm and 8pm. Clean pub, family environment (no pokies or TAB), good local wines selection. They do get busy so arrive early.
